BUILDING PERMIT FEE SCHEDULE

$1,000.00 and less - No fee unless inspection required, in which case a $10.00 fee for each inspection shall be charged.

The valuation for commercial & industrial work shall be based on contact cost and the permit fee shall be based on $1.50 per thousand or fraction thereof.

The valuation for dwelling units shall be $30.00 per square foot times the square footage of heated area and the permit fee shall be based on $1.50 per thousand or fraction thereof.

PENALTIES

Where work for which a permit is required by this code is started or proceeded prior to obtaining said permit, the fees herein specified shall be doubled, but the payment of such double fee shall not relieve any person from fully complying with the requirements of this code in the execution of the work nor from any other penalties prescribed herein.

From 51 to 100 outlets....................$10.00

From 101 to 200 outlets...................$25.00

Each outlet over 200.......................$10.00

PLUMBING PERMIT

First fixture....................................$ 6.50

Each additional fixture......................$ 2.00

LAWN SPRINKLER SYSTEM

Flat fee ........................................$15.00

MECHANICAL PERMIT

$10.00 for first thousand

$ 3.00 per thousand for each additional or fraction thereof.
